Stratus Environmental, Inc. is a full-service environmental engineering and consulting firm with offices in Cameron Park, Huntington Beach, and Ventura, California and in India. We are a certified California Small Business (#27206) and we have been serving clients throughout northern and Southern California since 1999. Stratus specializes in the assessment and cleanup of soil and groundwater that has been impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons (e.g. gasoline, diesel, etc.) and associated chemicals (e.g. MTBE, TBA, etc.). Built on a solid foundation of dedicated and experienced environmental professionals, our success lies in utilizing innovative and economical solutions combined with solid technical experience that consistently meet and exceed our clients expectation.

The success of Stratus is the result of the effort and dedication of our staff. Stratus has assembled a team of highly skilled and experienced individuals that share a commitment to client service and professional integrity. Our staff of nearly 50 employees includes Professional Geologists, Professional Engineers, Registered Environmental Assessors, biologists, chemists, and environmental scientists. Professional staff experience ranges from 12 to more than 22 years assessing and remediating environmental impacts.

We provide a full range of turnkey services to a variety of clients including government agencies (cities, counties, State of California, water districts, school districts, and sewer districts, etc.), major oil companies, local and regional fuel marketers, financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, independent property owners, and retail operators.

Stratus has a comprehensive and stringent state-of-the-industry health and safety program that is continually improving based on new information and shared learning. It is our position that with proper planning and preparation, work-related injuries can be anticipated and prevented. At Stratus, we foster a culture of respect for safety within our company, and reward positive efforts towards meeting our safety goals. The success of Stratus’ safety program is, in part, based on the staff’s adherence to the safety practices we’ve adopted, but more importantly on the staff’s personal behavior and commitment toward job safety. Stratus’ dedication to safety is evident in many ways, but our achievements speak loudest. With over a half-million man-hours worked to date, we have maintained a 0.0 OSHA TRIR, and have had no lost time cases recorded since our inception in 1999.
